Leonard A. Brennan is currently Editor-in-Chief of Wildlife Society Bulletin. He holds the C.C. Winn Endowed Chair in the Richard M. Kleberg, Jr. Center for Quail Research at the Caesar Kleberg Wildlife Research Institute at Texas A&M University - Kingsville. Lenny and his graduate students conduct research on various aspects of northern bobwhite habitat and population ecology, including the role of invasive plant species on their habitat use, landscape-level relationships of annual population productivity, and landscape genetics. Lenny has published more than 130 scientific papers and more than 100 extension publications. He co-authored the book Texas Bobwhites: A Guide to their Foods and Habitat (University of Texas Press) and has edited four other books, including Texas Quails: Ecology and Management (Texas A&M University Press), which received the The Wildlife Society's Outstanding Publication Award, edited book category, in 2008. Lenny was Editor-in-Chief of The Journal of Wildlife Management (2001-2002), Associate Editor of JWM (2005-2011) and Associate Editor of WSB (1994-1996).
