Group Achievement Award

The 1964-65 Council established the Group Achievement Award to recognize an organization's outstanding wildlife achievement that is consistent with and/or assists in advancing the objectives of The Wildlife Society.

The organization selected for the award can be private or governmental. The activity of past recipients has been primarily regional, national, or international in scope.

Accomplishments, while they may be long-term, should be of significant importance within the last three years. In the selection process, the tendency has been to honor private organizations working for wildlife resources as allies to governmental professional organizations.

Nomination Instructions

Nominations, with no more than tree letters of support attached, should describe the group, its objectives, number of members, and provide a concise statement of accomplishments within the last three years.
