Wildlife and Lead Workshop
November 22, 2013 (9am - 5pm)
Oregon Zoo, Vista Room
This workshop will provide Pacific Northwest wildlife professionals with an interactive forum to learn about the current state of knowledge regarding the effects of lead ingestion on wildlife and ongoing efforts to reduce exposure. Presentations will also highlight gaps in existing knowledge and explore some of the challenges, hurdles, and potential tools for further reducing lead exposure. Panel discussions will provide participants opportunities to share their experiences and contribute ideas towards a more collaborative and regional approach on the issue of lead exposure throughout the Pacific Northwest.
Cost is $50.00 ($40.00 for students) and this includes refreshments and lunch.
