You need a Google Account in order to join the TWS-L Google Group because the group is hosted by Google.

A Google Account does not mean you need a Gmail or similar Google-hosted email. Rather, you simply need to register any email with Google. Think of it as a way to sign in to the group.

Having a Google Account also allows you to change your subscription settings for our group and gives you the ability to reply to or start new discussions using the web interface.

If you absolutely do not wish to have a Google Account, nor wish to have personal control over your subsciption settings, email webmaster@wildlife.org to request subscription to TWS-L. You will be manually added, and your interaction with the group will be limited to email, as a traditional listserv.
